I have a 3 year old cat at home, his regular brand is Purina. He was fed with dry cat food regularly, and infrequently have some wet food and treats. This is the background of my cat and his food.
So, in this context, I got him the iams perfect at noon. At the beginning, my cat hesitated, smelling around as he always do when given some unfamiliar food. Then he started tasting and eating, and finished the first can probably in 2 minutes. I know that he loves this can food, as he seems to be

unsatisfied just eating one small can.
The funny thing is that when it's his dinner time, he seems unwilling to eat his regular dry food, maybe waiting for something better, al right, I know he's waiting for his new favorite can. Although I want to hide the other can, my son decides to open it. Anyway, my cat enjoyed the second can too.
Probably I have to purchase more Iams cans to make both my cat and my son happy in the future.
I received the Iams® Purrfect Delights™ Tempt Me Tune & Mackerel Dinner from Iams this past weekend. I was pretty busy when it arrived, so I waited until the next day before I gave my cat the Iams® Purrfect Delights™ cat food. My cat loves canned food in general, so he was pretty excited as soon as he heard the can open. Since the weather is getting warmer, I typically add one to two tablespoons of water to each can of food. But to ensure I did not interfere with his reaction, I omitted the

usual water addition to the food this one time. I spooned half of the can into a glass bowl and put a lid on the rest of the can and kept it in the refrigerator. When I was dishing out the first serving of the Iams® Purrfect Delights™ Tempt Me Tune & Mackerel Dinner, I noticed a few striking differences between the typical wet cat food pâté he usually is served: (1) There were fish scales in the food, (2) it was flakier than other pâtés, and (3) it looked like it could have been real fish at one point. The scales were the most surprising from a visual perspective, but I immediately remembered how great fish scales and skin is for cats and their skin/coat. The food seemed different from other brands based on the texture and how it broke apart in the bowl.
But the real test came when my cat tried the Iams® Purrfect Delights™ Tempt Me Tune & Mackerel Dinner. He loves almost EVERY kind of wet food (especially since he does not get it often), but he seemed to really enjoy eating this new variety. He finished the bowl pretty quickly, too. About eight hours later, I fed him the rest of the can but added a tablespoon of water this time. The cat still liked the food and did not seem to notice the extra liquid in the bowl. In my opinion, it is great that he will eat the food. I know I can serve this food to him and he will eat it without hesitating.
Still, I would purchase the Iams® Purrfect Delights™ cat food not exclusively becausethe cat liked it, but because the Iams® Purrfect Delights™ Tempt Me Tune & Mackerel Dinner has a decent amount of nutritional content. This is really important to me, since he is pretty young and I want to make sure he is healthy for many years to come. Going back to the food though, my cat will likely eat any wet food I set in front of him. However, it is great to have a wet food that is made from real, high quality protein (you can see the fish scales!) that does not have any artificial flavors or gluten added, it comes in a variety of fish, meat and poultry flavors, and it is competitively and reasonably priced. I would recommend the food because it is gluten free and make from real protein (without fillers!).
My cat NEEDS this cat food. He's about 13 years old. He's been on it for a while. Iams his whole life. Suddenly I cannot find this senior plus anywhere. He's not responding well to any other cat food. I've tried about 5 other kinds, several by Iams. Not producing solid bowel movements. What is going on, Iams?
I highly recommend this food. I noticed my 16 year old guy, despite drinking tons of water, was having dry shriveled stool, and was a little more lethargic than normal. It was time to move to some better food. Less than a week after switching to this food, his poops looked normal again and within 2 weeks, he started running around the house like a maniac, again. This is one of the less expensive specialty foods and well worth it. He's not too picky and so there was pretty much no adjustment time

for him either.
I aquired a Russian Blue Kitten from a local rescue. The rescue owner was feeding a good brand of kitten food but Ziva was still not looking good. She had a dull coat, low energy, and would eat almost 4 cups of food a day. I desided to switch to a differant brand and a friend had a bunch of kitten food after she found it a new home. I slowly added it to Zivas' food and at first she was eating less so I thought she didn't like it but she started to put on weight and her coat got slick and shiney.

Thank you for making a high quality food for my kitten that even a college kid can afford.
When I first brought my kitten home, he was not even a pound and very sick. Through nurturing and use of the Iams' kitten food he is now 8 pounds and healthy. The vet recommend the continued use of this food due to our great results. Only downside is he doesn't always love the taste but still readily eats it.
My dogs love Iams and we can tell a difference in their health and energy
My old guy (13) loves this. He also has constipation issues so he gets a small amount of Miralax each evening with his wet food. Problem solved. My "complaint" is that PetSmart doesn't carry enough of this (plenty of the Salmon, Whitefish). I do so wish this was easier to find as he seems to prefer the beef over the other 2 pate`s. There's plenty of liquid in the cans for the "seniors".
Our 1½ year old cat was having stomach issues. Not fun. Every morning we'd wake to a nasty hairball that was thrown up (and a bad litter box). I was afraid he had some virus and was ready to take him to the vet the following day. By chance I passed the Hairball treats (which states to use in conjunction with the food) so I bought a bag of Hairball Care as well. We were desperate to get the issues under control. Within 2 days he was back to complete normal! It's been 2 weeks now and we have had

only one additional hairball and it was a "normal" one. (I should mention that he is long-haired.)
On a side note: he is CRAZY for the food. If his bowl is empty, he knocks it down the stairs and follows you around the house, batting at your legs, until you give him more. I have never seen him eat food so fast and so enthusiastically. Definitely a win-win for all of us!
WE RESCUED OUR CAT...SHE IS A HEFTY 13 POUNDS, BUT MOST OF IT IS LOOSE SKIN...STILL, SHE IS CURVY. I THOUGHT I WAS DOING THE BEST THING FOR HER WHEN I PICKED UP A STORE BRAND "INDOOR CAT" FOOD-FIGURING SHE WOULD GET EVERYTHING SHE NEEDED. WELL, THE VET SAID THAT THE BEST THING FOR HER WAS THE HAIRBALL CARE. IT HAS LESS CARBS AND WILL HELP HER NOT TO GAIN WEIGHT AND STAY HEALTHY. IT HAS ALSO OBVIOUSLY BEEN GOOD TO TAKE CARE OF HAIRBALLS. IT'S NICE TO KNOW I'M DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR HER ON

MULTIPLE LEVELS. AND OF THE "BETTER" BRANDS, IAMS IS SO AFFORDABLE ALSO.
I switched my 9 year old and 10 month old over to grain free products. I've noticed that my 9 year old, who has asthma, by the way is more active, has lost some weight and hasn't had an asthma attack in months (they were typically about twice a week). My 10 month old...she just eats. But she loves this food. If you find that your pets are having health issues, try these grain free products. They may have grain allergies.
I bought this for my two cats several months ago, and I can't imagine feeding them anything else! The transition to this food was not hard--they instantly loved it. They don't feel the need to eat nearly as much as they did before, and when they go to the bathroom, it doesn't stink!! I convinced my mom to switch over as well (I gave her a sample to try for her cats, and now they demand it) Highly recommend it. :)
