Digestive Care lives up to its advertisement. I have 5 cats. One needed to lose some weight. 3 of my cats are more sensitive than the others. So finding a food ALL of them will eat without digestive upset is a BIG CHALLENGE! I did my research and decided to try Iams Digestive Care. Another reason I needed to switch was due to financial reasons. I had been feeding a boutique style cat food that cost way more than Iams Digestive Care.
My cats have eaten Iams Digestive Care for six weeks and are

doing great. My over weight cat does feel full and isn't begging for food. I feed to what their body size should be (also add some wet). Their fur is soft and smooth. Eyes look great. Two of my cats HAD bad eye drainage but even that is clearing up. My overweight cat is slowly losing his weight while not offending the sensitive systems of my other cats. Cats should always lose weight SLOWLY if they need to shed a few pounds. A vet should also be consulted since an underlying medical condition could contribute to obesity. In my case, I was overfeeding...oops!
The kibble size is not to small and not to large. Food smells fresh when the bag is opened. I like that I can get this food at a variety of stores, including those opened 24 hours a day. My cats give this food 20 paws up :-) And my wallet says "thank you Iams!" I found a really good food that is no longer breaking my piggy bank and agrees with ALL of my cats.
I bought Sensitive Stomach food for years - it's the only dry food my extremely fussy cat will eat. Now at WalMart and Target the bags say "Digestive Care" and thinking they are the same thing (pink bags), I purchased it. Nope. Cat sniffs it and walks away! I was in Green Bay, WI visiting relatives in mid-November and at Copps saw the "Sensitive Stomach" bag so grabbed that. Yay! Happy cat again! But now that's gone and I cannot find it anywhere - even the websites linked to IAMS show "Digestive

Care" when looking at the "Sensitive Stomach" option to buy. Can anyone help? Thanks SO much!
I have a very picky cat. We have tried several cat food brands in hopes to help him with maintaining his weight. He is an inside cat so it is the typical lazy cat. We slowly switched him to the Iams cat food and we were very pleased to say that he actually liked it. I loved that we also got the scoop with the kit so we know exactly how much to feed him. He is responding very well to the switch and he isn't begging or laying by his bowl for more food, like he normally would with other brands. I

feel like he is more satisfied with the Iams Cat Food. I love that Iams is a healthy choice of brands for our cat. I received this cat food from Iams and I will keep buying this cat food for my picky cat.
My cats have been eating the new IAMS cat food for several weeks now. The cat food that we were given to try, and now have switched to and use regularly, is the IAMS Proactive Health Indoor Weight and Hairball Care. I must say, at first, the transition was a bit rough. My cats have had some issues in the past with coughing up some hairballs, it was no big deal. Immediately after starting this food, they were coughing them up all day long!!! It was really rather disgusting, but I was shocked to

see that they had so much fur stuck in their bellies, and this food helped to relieve that. After about 10 days, there have been no more issues. No more nasty hairballs. I have decided to stick with this particular formula food because I believe that it controls the hairballs, and I like that the food is in very small pieces. My cats also LOVE to eat this food, so it must be flavorful! I would recommend this brand and formula cat food to all indoor cat owners.
When I first brought my kitten home, he was not even a pound and very sick. Through nurturing and use of the Iams' kitten food he is now 8 pounds and healthy. The vet recommend the continued use of this food due to our great results. Only downside is he doesn't always love the taste but still readily eats it.
When my girlfriends cat gave birth to a litter of five kittens we had no idea what to start feeding them. At first it was just the mothers milk but as they got a bit older they needed solid food. We went to our local pet shop and picked up a bag of Iams kitten food. We were nervous at first that the kittens would not like it and that it might be bad for them since it wasnt the pricey all natural stuff that everyone talks about. Well when we got home and fed it to them they loved it. I actually

ended up keeping two of the original five. Shadow and Sylvester. They have been fed Iams kitten food ever since. They beg for it when its feeding time and eat it all up. It gives them tremendous amounts of energy. I especially love the formula they have for brain development. I like this because as they grew up you can really tell that they have grown up to be intelligent, confident, and extremely affectionate cats. Both of their coats is beautiful especially Sylvester its show cat quality. When people pet them they always ask what I do or feed them and I always am proud to say I feed them Iams. I went from being afraid and unsure of this food to a solid believer of the product. I cant wait to transition them to adult food soon and keep the Iams name in our family
One of our kitties is a senior and needs a hair all formula to "move things along"... She even had to go to an emergency clinic once. Unfortunately, many of the hair all formulas are also weight control, and she has always been very skinny! All of our kitties like this food and it really helps both her issues and cuts down on everyone else's hair balls.
I've bought this for both my cats (siblings) for several years. They're coats are shiny and soft. My male has lost all his teeth, though he still chews up this food daily. Hair balls or spit up can still be a problem, but not as frequently as before this food.
My cat is typically hard to please; he's so picky about what food he wants to eat. I rotate through brands all the time, trying to find something that he'll enjoy. He gravitates to mostly dry cat food, so I was on the lookout for something he would eat and return to regularly.
What is important to me is quality--not a cat food that is more fillers or byproducts than protein. I also want something that is suitable for my two-year old cat. He's mainly indoors, so his health and nutrition are

important factors when I choose his meals.
I've tried the Iams brand for his wet food in the past, but I had not tried the Iams Proactive Health dry cat food. Before I even served it, I checked the information on the packaging: premium cat nutrition, 0% fillers, healthy teeth, skin, coat, and metabolism. I looked at the ingredients and noted that the first ingredient is chicken. From experience, I know how hard it is to find a dry cat food that has the protein listed first instead of another ingredient. The ingredients also include dried egg, dried beet pulp--food I recognize! There is also a helpful feeding guideline to ensure that you are not overfeeding your cat.
I also researched the price of the 5.7 pound bag, because who isn't price conscious? I can get the Iams Proactive Health Original with Chicken for $10.99 or less if on sale. It's in the majority of my local markets, too! If I follow the feeding advice, and I only give my cat one cup a day, 5 pounds for $10 is a great bargain!
Obviously, if my cat wouldn't eat it, that would be a huge problem. Yet, when I measured out the cup of food and put it in the bowl, he ran to it and started munching! He really enjoys the taste! It honestly gives me peace of mind!
I definitely recommend Iams for your cat; it comes in smaller-sized bags if you don't want to commit to a 5 lb bag. But if your cat proves to be like mine, you may be visiting your local market soon to stock up!
I was very excited for me and my kitty when I was select for the campaign. I was interested in providing my cat with a new and possibly better alternative for the cat food I was currently feeding her. When I received the bag I read about all of the essentials that the cat food claimed to provide. I was excited to give my cat the food to try. I noticed something over the first few days of feeding her. The first day she seemed to enjoy it. However, as the days went on she seemed to stray away from

it more and more. She does not eat it when I put the food in front of her now. I suppose she doesn't like something about it, Possibly the taste or that it is hard food. I'm not sure, I must say it made me sad to see that she didn't like it because it is full of essential good things that cats need. Even though the cat food wasn't for my little one I do recommend it for anyone that is trying to feed there cat good food with essentials in it. I also think the brand is very good and well known.
Our Cats, Toonces and Walter loved the Iams Proactive Health Chicken and Salmon cat food. They normally share a food dish but they kept crowding each other out to eat it, so we had to get an additional cat food dish so they could eat at the same time without competing for the food. It has been a long time since they have had Iams food and they are really enjoying having Iams to eat again. The cat food does not have any strong odors and the pieces are small and easy for them to eat. Sometimes

when we change their cat food they get stomach distress as evidenced by vomiting and diarrhea, but we have not noticed any problems with changing their food. Both cats seem very happy and are well fed.
I received Iams Proactive Health Dry Food free from the Iams brand for my cat Chloe to try because I am a BzzAgent. Iams Proactive Health Dry Food offers great health benefits for cats. This dry food helps promote a healthy metabolism, healthy weight, and a healthy digestive system for cats. These are benefits I love to provide for my pets. The size of the dry food pieces are the perfect size for cats. The flavor combination was chicken and salmon which is a perfect flavor combination for

My cat Chloe was a little more accepting of the Iams Proactive Health dry food than my other cat. She seemed to enjoy it, however, it would not be her first choice. Overall, this dry food is high quality and worth a try.
