I bought this a couple of weeks ago. My dog really seems to like the flavor and eats it heartily. It has quality ingredients and is great for my dog's health. He's 10 now and needs proper nutrients for a long life.
I had to switch to a senior dog food from the Iams Lamb and Rice. My dog has been doing great on this food! Also, it was an easy switch. The only thing I wish is that they would give an option of a larger bag! If it is a large breed dog I would think they would make these bags in a 40 pound or 50 pound option not 26.2 or 12 pounds. I hate having to lug multiple bags to the counter at the pet store and the additional garbage that it produces. I hope that Iams read this and takes the hint. I don't

have an issue with spending more money on it.
We have a seven year old lab mix that has allergies that seem to have gotten worse as she ages. Our vet suggested last week that changing her to a seafood or lamb food that is dairy, chicken, beef and wheat free was worth trying. Her vet also suggested going to just dry food and using her dry food as her treats that she gets twice a day. Well, the treats of her new dry dog food didn't work and she stuck her nose up when it came to just eating dry food for breakfast and supper. BUT, we found

that she loves her cup and a half of dry Lamb and Rice food mixed with a few tablespoons of her wet Lamb and Rice food twice a day and gobbles it down. Her skin is clearing up. Her ears are clearing up and her drippy nose is gone in just a weeks time. Yahooo!!! We just noticed that they have dog treats, too, so we'll pick up some of those today. We are very tickled.
my golden won't eat unless i feed him lam and rice
I bought a small bag with my coupon from PinchMe. My dog Xena is an older dog (12) but still pretty active and in good shape. I decided to try the recipe that's good for her age and joints. She's picky but she loved it !
I bought a bag of Iams for mature large dogs and my dog Ruff loves it. I have no problem getting him to eat. It is a more healthy dog food than most I have tried with more premium ingredients. I would highly recommend Iams for your dog.
I've used Iams products in the past and bought the Mature Adult this time as my dog just turned 9 and thought this would be beneficial for him. I like that the kibbles are small and he seems to have an easy time digesting the food. He loves the taste and looks forward to meal time. I like that it's Veterinarian recommended and builds a strong immune system. Sounds like it has the nutrients my dog needs.
My two dogs, Bailey and Calla, had to switch foods due to age and the need to be healthier. Hey absolutely love this new food and have been nothing but happy, healthier, and more excited about their food. I'm pleased as well as they are!
I was using a Lite dogfood, and my 3 dogs were out of shape, much too heavy, even with a dry lite dog food. I switched to Iams weight control large breed dry food and the weight came off. It was like night and day, as they look and act like new dogs. Their vet is very pleased with everything with them now. Live and learn, because "lite" isn't always best.
WE have been feeding our dogs Iams for many years. They make a high-quality dog food. As they have aged we shifted to ProActive Weight Control.
Disappoint and now reasonn to no longer use Iams is the recent price increase. What had been a 7 pound bag for a very long time changed to 5.7 pounds when purchased today. Same price but 20% less food; I was shocked and we will long longer be buying Iams.
I have just found out that IAMs has discontinued this biscuit. Why? My dogs love them and we have been faithful purchasers of them for over 5 years. Please do not change the formula. I will soon run out of my last box of biscuits. There will be 3 sad faces when I do: mine, my schipperke's and my Norwegian buhund.
My Schipperke loves these things, but they're unobtainable now.
