I tried the sample product and my elderly dog ate all of the food. 1st time in a long time. She is typically very picky and we struggle with her eating all of her food. She ate it all and actually wanted more. Wonderful product, we have since switched to the Iams brand.
I have been wanting to try Iams for my dog and this was the perfect opportunity. I chose the weight management for my tubby dog. She loved the food and lost a bit of that waistline. The food is a bit pricier than what you would find at the grocer but, much cheaper than what you would purchase at a pet food store.
I have continued her on the food in hopes of her losing a few more pounds.
I have been giving these biscuits to my beagle and pug for years. They love them and the calories are always under control. Now I cant find them for sale in Canada any more. Help!!!!
My Schipperke loves these things, but they're unobtainable now.
My dog has been eating and loving this dog food for the past 2 years. He just had his 3 year checkup and the veterinarian said he is an exceptionally healthy dog. She asked what I was feeding him. When I told her she said, "Keep him on it! It obviously works for him."
My dog was having dry skin, and lots of dandruff, so I put him on purina one (since they promised skin and coat would improve guaranteed). and nothing changed, so I switched over to the small and toy breed proactive iams health. Let me tell you my dogs coat and skin totally cleared up, and his activity level also improved, he loves the taste and is now shiny and beautiful ! thanks iams..
I started feeding my dogs these treats and they will not eat anything else! My only problem is you need to offer more TREAT coupons for these.
My dog has a sensitive stomach from having a parasite. These treats are the only ones that do not give him diarrhea. The only problem I have is that they are pulled from stores unexpectedly!
Our vet recommended this food over the other "pricier" options for our new Great Dane puppy. She LOVES the food and is always eager to eat. My Shih-Tzu has also taken to the food and loves it more than his regular food so we have swapped him to Iams as well. I was most concerned about our GD growing too fast (I've been told that if they grow too fast, which they will do on regular puppy food, that it will hurt them) and so far, 12 weeks in to using Iams, she is right on track according to our vet.
I recently got a 4 weeks old puppy, turning 5 this week. He's a Alaskan Husky/Yellow Lab mixed very adorable breed. He's supposed to be with mama dog until 6 weeks, but I was so impatient and just so excited about getting him that the owner allowed me to take him home a day after 4 weeks he suggested me to feed him soft wet food until he turns 6 weeks. So I went to buy him the high quality brand name soft wet food he ate the food but had a little problem eating the whole thing, plus everytime he

potty its always watery or mushy. So I wanted to do it my own way by start feeding him puppy dry food, so after 2 days of feeding him soft wet food I wasn't happy, I decided to go buy IAMS Puppy food (Large Breed) to feed him, at first I was worried that he can't eat dry food yet and was worried that his poo will be the same. But I still gave it a try, after a day of eating IAMS puppy food there was a different his poo was solid I mean solid. So that means this puppy food went through his body and digest real well. I'm surprised he ate it, he ate the whole bow. And now that I him for 4 days, everytime he hears me open the bag he wag his tail and run to me in a very exciting mood. For those, who complain about how bad this food is then I disagree with you. And in my belief, I think its not so much about the more it cost the better its about how your puppy/dog accept it and how his or her body works. Every puppy/dog is different. I can easily go buy Blue Rhino brand which is pricey but if it has the same effect then why not go with IAMS which cost half the price. I don't care how much money you have or make, its about keeping your pets healty & strong and shopping smart. If your pets is liking the food then you know the food isn't that bad. Last but not least, IAMS is giving me and my little boy a good vibe for a start! I'll stick with IAMS for good. :)
I had to switch to a senior dog food from the Iams Lamb and Rice. My dog has been doing great on this food! Also, it was an easy switch. The only thing I wish is that they would give an option of a larger bag! If it is a large breed dog I would think they would make these bags in a 40 pound or 50 pound option not 26.2 or 12 pounds. I hate having to lug multiple bags to the counter at the pet store and the additional garbage that it produces. I hope that Iams read this and takes the hint. I don't

have an issue with spending more money on it.
I have a 12 year old Stafford-shire who has grown up on a diet of eating IAMSs PUPPY, Chicken, Lamb & Rice, and now we are using the IAMs Senior Plus. His health and activity has always be excellent. No problems that other dogs have had. I also like the Naturals product line, however we have stayed with the Senior Plus product as it's easier to find consistently in stores. We RV/travel across the United States, and sometimes can not always find the same products in the name-brand Pet-stores

across the nation. I would happily recommend any of the IAMs products which I have used over the life of my dog to anyone! The biscuits are great for training and rewards too.
