Rated 2 out of 5 by ELEVENRANCH from Not a favorite for GSD with sensitive teeth! Our GSD has sensitive teeth and gums from past abuse (he is a rescue) and the kibble is a bit too hard and large for him to comfortably eat. Even after soaking in warm water he is hesitant to eat (the palatability doesn't seem too get his attention compared to other diets) - We do love that there is an economical option for breed specific diet such as the German Shepherd!

Since being on Iams Proactive German Shepherd food, she is more active, sheds less, has more shine to her coat, and gets compliments on her appearance frequently. As I do not know how much of her previous behavior was due to summer heat and being a rescue, I cannot say this is all due to diet, but I believe a lot is. She loves the food and tolerates it well, only getting sick if she finds people food or cat food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Freddy227 from My dogs love it give it a try!! I have 2 Germans Shepherds, I'm on my second bag and they love the food. I like the size of the kibble because it helps them eat slow and calm. Their coat is looking fantastic. I would recommend everyone to try it out.
